Cassie Jay Tant, age 35, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024.
Cassie was born in Rome, GA, on July 25, 1988, daughter of Larry W. Tant and Jacque Jay Tant. She had lived all her life in Rockmart and was a 2006 graduate of Rockmart High School.
Cassie was a former Licensed Practical Nurse. In her younger years she enjoyed playing softball and riding four wheelers. Cassie enjoyed working with crafts but her most precious moments were spent with her girls.
Cassie was preceded in death by grandparents, Joanna and Johnny Jay, and Betty Waddell, and an uncle, Andy Jay.
Cassie is survived by her daughters, Sophia Jay Pittman and Madelyn Vaughn Pittman; parents, Larry and Jacque Tant. Several cousins also survive.
Memorial services for Cassie will be held on Friday evening, May 31, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Davidson officiating.
Cassie’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour.
