Local youth of elementary school age are welcome to take part in a upcoming weeklong camp being held at the Polk Haralson Christian Life Center, or better known as Camp Antioch.
The upcoming camp, themed around the concept of “Animal Time,” is coming up starting on June 7 through June 11 is providing various opportunities for youth to take part, but is limited to just 30 youth. Prices start at $35 per child, and $15 for each additional child in the same family.
Sack lunches are required, as well as an appropriately sized white t-shirt for tie dye. Youth in the first through sixth grades are welcome to sign up for the camp.
Programs planned include a visit from the DNR’s wildlife program, a reptile show and more.
The upcoming event is being organized by local Girl Scout Troop 13399.
