Bicycles circled the driveway at Camp Antioch (the Polk-Haralson Baptist Assembly) to celebrate the coming of Easter and afterward got to enjoy a few slices of pizza, games and more.
The parade took place on Saturday, March 27 and provided at least a dozen youth the chance to also partake in a petting zoo – which of course included rabbits – at Camp Antioch. The bike/scooter parade also included palm leaves and praise songs to commemorate Palm Sunday.
It is the Sunday prior to Easter on the calendar and celebrates the arrival of Jesus into Jerusalem to open Holy Week, which ends with Easter and the resurrection.
