
The Clayton County Police announced that Danielle Moose was taken into this afternoon in a standoff in Cedartown, and a second person was also taken into custody according to local police.
Moose, who was wanted for the “brutal beating of a feamle” on October 31 in Riverdale, and recorded it on Instagram live.
“Danielle ran from the incident location upon police arrival,” the Clayton County Police previously posted last week on November 8 on Facebook.
The 28-year-old had the Floyd County SWAT Team along with the US Marshals Service, Clayton County Police, Cedartown Police, Polk County Sheriffs Office and others out on the scene at Rock Street and MLK Jr. Boulevard in Cedartown starting this morning and through the afternoon before she was finally taken into custody.
Clayton County Police was transporting her back to their jail to face charges she was wanted on for the October 31 assault.
A second person who has yet been identified was also arrested on a charge for harboring a fugitive. That individual will have to face that charge locally.
Moose could face additional charges locally for obstruction, per Cedartown Police Chief Jamie Newsome.

There was still no sign of a standoff coming to an end immediately in Cedartown this afternoon while police have been out on the scene for hours, according to those who have been watching and waiting to see what happens next around the house.
The US Marshals Service, Floyd County SWAT Team members, Cedartown Police and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are among the agencies outside of a house at the intersection of Rock Street and MLK Jr. Boulevard in Cedartown in wait to see if the woman will come out.
Per Polk County Sheriff Johnny Moats, the Marshals Service was seeking the yet-identified suspect on warrants out of Clayton County.
Police have used gas several times on the woman with no results so far in getting her to surrender.
Reports from pedestrians on the scene who have been out watching the events report that officers have been out in front of the house since this morning.
