Fundraiser for Camping with a Chance hopes to be able to help locals with special needs

A fundraising event for Camping with a Chance is coming up in December and brings a chance for residents to enjoy an opportunity to have pancakes with Santa during dinnertime.

New Prospect Baptist Church is hosting the organization’s Breakfast for Dinner with Santa Claus fundraiser on Friday, December 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Dinner is $5 per child and $7 per adult.

Time slots are available to take a photo with Santa, and those require registration. Siblings should be grouped together on one time slot, per organizers.

Camping with a Chance is a local nonprofit organization seeking to help those with special needs in the community since 2017. They host a 2-day summer camp in June as their main event, but have other opportunities available for those interested in participating.
