Blood Assurance and the Polk County Police are teaming up next Monday as they bring one of their blood mobiles to the Cedartown area to get a few pints from local residents, and provide opportunities for those participants to win a big prize.

The Luck of the Donor contest is underway, and anyone who gives between now and March 17 will be entered into a drawing to win a $500 gift card.

All participants will get a “Luck of the Donor” t-shirt, and will be eligible for door prizes as well.

Additionally for Polk County employees only: those who give on March 14 will be entered for a chance to get an additional vacation day added to their time off allotted for 2022.

Participants are asked to be sure to eat a good meal, drink plenty of water and avoid the energy drinks before coming to the event.
