Bible Treats Trunk or Treat goes on despite wet weather

Trick or Treat took on a new meaning at Camp Antioch on Saturday, and despite wet weather local churches came out to participate in the first Bible Treats Trunk or Treat.

Saturday’s event was free to the public and took a different spin on Halloween Trunk or Treating by seeking out congregations to participate and setup Bible-themed displays in the trunks of their vehicles for participants to pass by and enjoy before getting some candy to take home.

Camp Antioch Executive Director Janice Stewart said she was thankful for all those who came out despite the weather for an afternoon of fun.

Along with the Trunk or Treat displays, a local Girl Scouts Glee Club also took part. See the Polk Today Video Extra below for one of their performances during the afternoon event.
