Mr. Benjamin “Biff” Franklin O’Shields, age 55 of Aragon, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022.
Mr. O’Shields was born in Atlanta, son of the late John Richard O’Shields and the late Nancy Gail Searcy.
He enjoyed his work as an EMT to the fullest, but above all else, he was a big family man and loved being a dad. He will be remembered as a selfless person who always put everyone else before himself.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Hardy.
Survivors include a son: John (Elizabeth) O’Shields; sister, Nora Jean O’Shields Rains; nieces, Brittany Rains and Jennifer Stanton; and great-nephews, Nathan Morgan and Xander Rains.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. O’Shields will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the Freeman Harris Funeral Home prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. until the memorial hour.
