Students Pre-K through 12th grade have the chance to go back to school with a brand new hairdo for the 2020-21 academic year when they start Monday thanks to the generous efforts of local stylists at F.H.F Hair Design and Pam Davis Robinson with New Image Hair.
The 10th annual Back 2 School Free Haircuts at the salon in Cedartown – located at 305 Main St. – kicked off this morning. All participants – including staff – are required to wear a mask inside to take part in the event.
Along with haircuts, youth and parents got the chance to utilize a free clothing closet setup outside, enjoy free food and students got to take home some school supplies during the event.
Dozens were already on-site this morning getting their hair cuts and more. It continues on until 6:30 p.m. this evening for those who need a haircut. Food, clothing and school supplies are available while they last.
