A car show expected to last through the afternoon hours was cut short, and awards went out to enthusiasts who came out to participate despite the forecast at the Aragon First United Methodist Car Show on Saturday, June 19.

The event held in the parking lot at Pittman Park saw classic and newer model cars of all sizes taking part, and awards went out for Biggest Vehicle, First Runner Up, First Place on votes, and the Pastor’s Choice Award.

Pastor Justin Arnold handed out the awards around 11:30 a.m. Live music and food had been planned, but was called off.
