Anthony Edward Robinson, age 61, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, in the same town where he spent his entire life.
Anthony was born on October 18, 1962, a son of Gerald Robinson and the late Margaret Westmoreland Robinson. He was a devoted caretaker for his family and will be remembered fondly by all whose lives he touched.
In his professional journey, Anthony was as a former employee of J.L. Lester & Son Grocery before beginning his career in tile work. He dedicated himself to tile work throughout his career, notably contributing his skills to Rome Marble and Tile. His commitment to his craft and work ethic left a lasting impact on those around him.
Anthony is survived by his father, Gerald Robinson; sisters Rita (Curtis) Sanders and Teresa (Bob) Ginapp; brother Craig Robinson; as well as Uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews who will carry forward his memory.
Services to honor and celebrate Anthony’s life will take place on Monday afternoon, February 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Anthony’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Pallbearers will include Burlan Arnold, William Sisson, Jason Sisson, Tracey Westmoreland, Jamie Westmoreland, and Greg Stiles. honorary pallbearers will include Austin Sisson, Jacob Robinson, Lance Stiles, and Laken Arnold.
Anthony Edward Robinson will be dearly missed but never forgotten for his unwavering love for his family and the significant contributions he made during his lifetime. May he rest in peace.
