Mrs. Wilma Jo Wood Ingram, age 92 of Rockmart, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022.
Mrs. Ingram was born March 13, 1930 in Rockmart, daughter of the late Denver Earl Wood and the late Nellie Ophelia McMillan Wood. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Phone Operator for BellSouth. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, and gardening.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Ingram, and two brothers, Perkins Wood and Kenneth Wood.
Survivors include a daughter, Dianne Elsberry of Rockmart; a brother, John Wood of Cedartown; a sister, Patricia Wood of Rockmart; grandchildren, Will Elsberry, Chris Elsberry, and Stevie Elsberry; and several greatgrandchildren and great greatgrandchildren.
In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Ingram will be cremated and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
