Mrs. Willene Truett Brown, age 82 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Wednesday morning, November 17, 2021.

Mrs. Brown was born on September 28, 1939 in Polk County, a daughter of the late Quillie Truett and the late Mattie Gladden Truett.

She grew up and lived in Cedartown all her life and was a 1959 graduate of Cedartown High School.  She had been employed by Belk’s Department Store for many years. 

Mrs. Brown had been a longtime and faithful member of the South Side Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the Nifty Fifties group.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bonnell Redden and Brenda Noel and the love of her life, her husband, Mr. Morris “Junior” Brown in 1995.

Willene Brown is survived by her brother and sister in law, Willie & Donna Truett; her sister, Helen Goble.  She is also survived by a number of loving nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and great great  nephews and nieces.

Funeral services for Willene Brown will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Joel A. Smith and Rev. Jeff Pilgrim officiating. Interment will follow in the North View Cemetery.

Mrs. Browns nephews will serve as Pallbearers.

The Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the Litesey Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or those wishing to do so may make memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Brown to South Side Baptist Church P. O. Box 478, Cedartown, Ga 30125
