Rain chances remain through midweek, but for today it is just going to be cloudy and slightly mild according to the National Weather Service forecast.

NWS Peachtree City has mostly cloudy skies in the forecast for the day, with a high of 65 to start the week before a chill returns in the air later this week.

Rain potential return overnight with a low down to 52, with just a 30% chance of showers heading into Tuesday. There’s a 40% chance of rain for the day tomorrow, with patchy fog before 11 a.m. and a high of 67.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of December so far – a high of 72 and chances of showers through 1 p.m. and up to 60% for midweek before the wet weather begins to clear up on Wednesday night, and temps dip down to 40.

Once Thursday hits, NWS Peachtree City forecasters call for sunshine with a high of 57, and lows down toward freezing again on Thursday night at 32.

Look for highs to remain in the mid 50s on Friday, and lows down below freezing at 27.

Weekend temps are expected in the high 40s range, and down into the 20s overnight.
