Expect temperatures to dip down toward freezing overnight in the coming days, and remains cool during the day over the coming week as the National Weather Service predicts this forthcoming chill in the air is set to stick around through week’s end, and then get one last round of mild before winter arrives.

The NWS forecast calls for temps to drop down to 39 overnight after a drenching Tuesday followed by a breezy afternoon as a low front brings temperatures down from the arctic with a first taste of winter. That’s a swing of 31 degrees today based on the high earlier in the day.

From Thursday through Saturday, temps are expected to remain in the 50s during the day and overnight get down toward the freezing mark in the 30s.

Temps will begin a swing back somewhat warmer for the end of the weekend and into the beginning of Thanksgiving Week, but don’t expect them to last. Temps will be in the 60s and down into the 40s overnight through the beginning of the holiday week, then dip down to the upper and mid 50s as Thanksgiving arrives and to close out the month of November.

Look for chances of rain on Thanksgiving Day, but check back for an updated forecast as it becomes available.
