Mrs. Virginia Faye Casey of Cedartown, GA. passed away Friday, July 8, 2022. Mrs. Casey was born April 21, 1934 to the late H.J. and Mattie Evans.
Mrs. Casey loved flowers and was the proud business owner of Casey Mountain Florist. She also had a passion for baking and was know as “The Fried Pie Lady”.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Casey is preceded in death by her husband Wiley Jackson Casey; brothers Charles Evans (Dolly) and Danny Evans; sister Elaine Godfrey.
Surviving Mrs. Casey is her son Jackie Casey, (Cindy); sister Renee Watters (Gyle); sister-in-law Fay Evans; grandchild Allen Casey (Sarah) and many nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Lime Branch Church Cemetery at three o’clock in the afternoon with Rev. Brian Crisp officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home, from two o’clock until the funeral hour.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Allen Casey, Randy Allen, Chuck Knowles, Vann Dingler, Craig McDonald and Wright Gammon.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Lime Branch Baptist Church P.O. Box 141 Cedartown, GA 30125.
