They’ll also providing a gathering room for those seeking a space for small group Bible studies.
On Friday ahead of the Grand Opening day, The Olive Press posted this video on their Facebook page bringing a message from the new owners.
“We are thankful for the support of our family, friends and the Rockmart community for helping us in our mission to be able to provide a place where people now have a new opportunity to connect and grow in their spiritual life,” said Rev. Jason Purser, co-owner of the new store.
Hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The Olive Press is closed on Sundays for worship, and on Monday for rest. The store is located at 107 E Church St., Rockmart.
The Olive Press is one of several new spaces planned on East Church Street in downtown Rockmart as renovation work continues along the street. The bookstore was previously the home of the Helping Hands Thrift Store.
Prior to opening their new location, The Olive Press had a popup shop inside of Sanity Coffee in downtown Rockmart.
