Business relocates to downtown spot

Tracy Clay, family and friends gathered on Saturday morning to celebrate a big milestone: a move to a new location for The Clay Birch.

After several years located in the shopping center with Triangle Foods along Nathan Dean Parkway, The Clay Birch packed up and made their move to a new downtown location at 103 S. Marble St., Rockmart, with a Saturday Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting event.

The boutique owned and operated by Tracy Clay specializes in fashions, accessories and jewelry with a focus on women. Her store has been open in Rockmart since 2018.

Alongside some work to prepare the new downtown location, The Clay Birch also got a facade grant from the Rockmart Downtown Development Authority to complete some exterior work on the streetside of the shop.

Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
