
Mrs. Sarah Faye Smith Zebeau, age 88 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was born on August 22, 1936 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Ed Monroe and Willie Mae Weaver Smith.
Mrs. Zebeau is survived by her daughters, Kathy Zebeau and JoAnne Zebeau; son, Joe Wayne Zebeau, Jr. (Susan); grandchildren, Lyle Vinson, Lindsey Griggs (Jamie), Lacey Fuqua (Chris) and Hayden Zebeau; great-grandchildren, Shelby Tracy, Barrett Vinson, Lillie Howard, Anna Mae Griggs, Sarah Kate Griggs, and Allie Rae Griggs; and special friend, Paula Parker.
Mrs. Zebeau is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Wayne Zebeau, Sr.; and sister, Annie Mary Davis.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Zebeau will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at three o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Fetkenhour officiating and Mrs. JoAnne Zebeau delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Zebeau will receive family and friends on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from two o’clock in the afternoon until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Lyle Vinson, Barrett Vinson, Hayden Zebeau, Chris Fuqua, Jamie Griggs and Andrew Tracy.
