Mr. Robert Scott “Bones” Allred, age 62, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
Scott was born January 15, 1959 in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Robert Allred and the late Margaret Hamrick Allred.
He enjoyed fishing and listening to classic rock and roll music. Scott was willing to help others and always left an impression wherever he went. He loved his family and was a spiritual man who wrote a daily prayer.
The last prayer he wrote was, “Thank you Lord for another day! Forgive me of my sins. Use me as you wish for I have no fear for my faith is strong. I will be your soldier for my sword is sharp and my wings are strong. Please guide me and teach me every day. Make me prosper in your wisdom for I know the time is at hand”.
In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his sister Kathryn Allred and brother Bobby Allred.
Survivors include his daughter Kathryn Winkles (Jason); grandson, Waylon Winkles; sisters: Teresa Allred and Cindy Waller; brother, Steven Boyett; niece, Brittany Olive (Josh); 6 nephews along with several great nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 18th, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
