A Rockmart Yellow Jacket is one of the nominees for a prestigious award across multiple sports.
Armand Morin, a RHS senior set to graduate on Friday, is up for a statewide award after taking a regional award.
The Jacket who just finished up the soccer season was named winner of the Northwest Georgia Multisport Athlete of the Year.

Armand was named Positive Athlete Georgia’s nominee for NW GA Multisport Athlete of the Year. Only abt 7% of the more than 5,000 athletes nominated make it this far. He is a finalist for the State Award for Multisport Category.
It will be announced in June.
