The weather was sometimes drizzly and a bit cooler for a summer event at the Aragon Mill Pond, but it didn’t deter families from casting lines along the shoreline for Aragon Children’s Day 2024.
The city stocked the pond with a fresh round of fish this year and Davitte Lodge F&AM #513 continued to provide free hot dogs, inflatables for playtime, prizes and more for Aragon Children’s Day 2024.
Dozens of families participated in the annual event in the mill village on Saturday despite wet weather, and with temps sticking to the low 70s on the day and overcast skies made it perfect fishing weather for young and old alike.
