Bobby Edward Perez

A Rockmart man was jailed and remains there on a $16,000 bond following an incident with Polk County Police in Aragon on Monday morning, according to reports.

PCPD took Bobby Edward Perez, 48, of 413 Lee Road, Rockmart, was jailed on Monday around 11 a.m. after police initially responded an hour before to New Prospect Road in Aragon near the intersection with North Bellview Road.




The report did not provide additional information on the incident, but did list the charges that Perez faces.

He remained in the Polk County Jail on felonies for possession of methamphetamine, second degree forgery, obstructing law enforcement officers, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime. He faces additional misdemeanor charges for possession and use of drug-related objects, fleeing or attempting to elude police, drugs not in original container, additional obstruction charges and a misdemeanor bench warrant.
