Mrs. Peggy Crawford Bagley passed away peacefully on July 23, 2022 at Winthrop assisted living in Rome, GA at the age of 94.

She was born July 7, 1928 in Lyerly, Gato Florence to Gilliland Crawford and Robert Nicholas Crawford. She was the first of six children. She went to Summerville High School and GA College for Women.

She married Robert Cordle Bagley September 19, 1946. They married in Summerville, GA where they established a home and family. There all three of their daughters were born. In 1961 they moved to Cedartown. They were members of the First Baptist Church where she taught five year olds in Sunday school for over 30 years. She and Cordle loved to travel.

They built a house at lake Weiss, Alabama, with the help of their sons in law. They lived there every summer, and it was enjoyed by generations of their family. She played bridge, was an avid Gardner and a gourmet cook. She was a true southern lady, prim and proper in every way.

She is survived by her three daughters Pam Morgan, Pat Odom (Parnell) and Peg Terrell.

Her sisters Barbara Clay, Eleanor Mosteller, Liz Benton (Oliver); brothers Peter Crawford and John Crawford; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren also survive her. She is preceded in death by her husband of 74 years Cordle and sons in law David Morgan and Doug Terrell.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
