Mrs. Patricia Ann Bedford Farrister, age 83 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Patricia was born December 8, 1938, in Cedartown to her late parents Robert Scott Bedford and Mandy Crawford Bedford.
She was a dedicated member of Southside Baptist Church and had taught Sunday School for almost 40 years. She loved singing in gospel groups and studying her Bible. She was a retiree of Arrow Shirt Company and enjoyed sewing after her retirement.
Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Paul Farrister; daughter, Angela Phillips; and granddaughter, Tamra Farrister Presley and her sister, Donis Blankenship.
Survivors include her children: Cindy Brooks and her husband Bobby, Scott Farrister and his wife Terry; grandchildren, Tyler Farrister, Mandy Folsom, Trey Brooks, and Misty Hooks; great grandchildren, Garrett Farrister, Valarie Farrister, Elizabeth Farrister, Caroline Branch, Abel Branch, Jack Miller, Breanna Hooks, Grayson Hooks, Christian Hooks, Isaiah Hooks, and Scarlett Presley; son in law, Gary Phillips, and brothers, John Bedford and James Bedford. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Joel A. Smith officiating and with eulogies by Greg Johnson, Martha Lyons, Stephen Hooks, Terry Farrister, and Bobby Brooks. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: Greg Johnson, Gary Phillips, Tyler Farrister, Eric Bedford, Stephen Hooks, and Trey Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will include Jack Miller, Grayson Hooks, Christian Hooks, and Isaiah Hooks.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM
