A lot of fun is happening today at Paris Mountain Vineyards who are celebrating their
The county’s first grape growers producing wine in Polk County opened its doors in June 2023 as Scott and Susan Dodson completed a project several years in the making. Ever since, the pair have offered up weekend events to draw in folks to try their wine while enjoying food trucks and live music on the property and even Bingo on Friday nights.
Now they are holding one of their biggest events yet on Bollen Road as they bring out a variety of vendors, food and opportunities for fun for their first anniversary celebration.
The even begins at noon and continues to 6 p.m., and has something for all ages.
Joe Breckenridge will be performing live from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. followed by Brooke and Mike from 4 to 7 p.m.
Additionally, they’ll have Boobadoo BBQ, 17 different vendors on site, and a “visit from Hiccup and Hopi, the sweetest Miniature Horses from Starr Ranch Rescue and their best buds, Aussie and Arlo” per a post on Facebook from Paris Mountain Vineyards about the upcoming event.
Paris Mountain Vineyards has also recently introduced some new homegrown varieties to try from the cellar – including a new dessert wine Rockport – just in time for today’s big event.
