The Cedartown Bulldogs are world champions in this year’s debate competition.
After defeating Shibuya School early this morning following a 3 a.m. start, Cedartown’s own Ava Reaves, Seth Wright and Nellie Abdul-Rahman took the top spot in the 7th annual Parliamentary Debate World Congress after defeating teams from Japan and Vietman to get in the finals.
The trio making up the CHS International Debate Team competed virtually this year overnight following a 3 a.m. Friday competition in the semi-finals.
