Ms. Virginia Jo Wise, age 85, of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. She was born on April 13, 1936 in Pikeville, TN. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ella Lee Scott Wise.
Ms. Virginia was a long time member of First Baptist Church where she loved her church home, her friends and family. She never missed a Sunday, and loved being the door greeter.
Virginia would always have a smile on her face and was always willing to give you a drawing she had made.
Ms. Wise is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Johnnie Wise; nephew, Jason Wise (Nina); and two great-nieces.
Ms. Wise is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Don Wise, Leroy Wise, and Jimmy Wise.
The funeral arrangements for Ms. Virginia Jo Wise will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at eleven o’clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family of Ms. Wise will receive family and friends on Friday, July 23, 2021 from ten o’clock in the morning until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
