Mrs. Sharon Yvette Jackson, age 63, of Cartersville, GA passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Yvette was born in Tokyo, Japan on April 2, 1958 She is the daughter of Helen Phillips and the late Walter Phillips. Yvette grew up in several different places while her father served our country in the U,S. Air Force before settling down in the Cartersville, GA area. Yvette was preceded in death by her father Walter Phillips on February 16, 1995.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Phillips; her husband of 48 years, Jerome Jackson; son ,Jake Jackson; daughter, Layla Jackson Veley and her husband, Steve Veley and their two children: Ava and Kyle Veley. She is also survived by all of her siblings: Jeanie Bean, Pam Pierce, Keith Phillips, Kathy Swanson, Mark Phillips, and Kim Leatherwood. Numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews also survive.
In keeping with Yvettes’ wishes she will be cremated and there will be a private family memorial at a later date.
