Mrs. Norma Gail Parker Allen, age 85 of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Mrs. Allen was born May 29, 1936 in Ider, Alabama to the late Roy Wilson Parker and the late Maggie Nolen Parker. She worked as a pharmacy clerk at Fulmer’s Pharmacy. Her favorite hobbies included reading, crocheting, and playing bingo. She also loved watching horse racing, dog racing, and Hallmark movies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen; a sister, Maudie Geneva Wolfe; and a half-sister.
Survivors include two sons, William “Tim” (Darlene) Allen of Dalton and Anthony “Todd” Allen of Cedartown, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Rockmart with Pastor Will Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Will Allen, William “Tim” Allen, Anthony “Todd” Allen, Pablo Sandoval, Brandon Johnson, and William Joshua Allen.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM in the Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Rockmart.
