Mrs. Martha Ann White, age 71, of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
Mrs. White was born on March 5, 1950 in Rome, GA, to her late parents: William Smith and Lilly Craig Smith.
Martha lived the greater part of her life in Bartow County before moving to Calhoun in 2015. Mrs. White loved sewing, coloring and fishing and was Baptist by faith.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Smith and sister, Lucille Smith.
Mrs. White is survived by her loving husband, Walter “Doc” White of Calhoun, GA, daughter, Darlene Waters and her husband, Larry Jr. of Aragon, GA, grandson, Charlie Waters of Rockmart, GA, brothers: Earl, Robert, Marvin, Johnny, Donnie and Ricky Smith.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, Mrs. White has been cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial donations be made to the family.
