Mrs. Joan Proctor Eaves, age 69 of the Beulah Community, Rockmart, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at her residence.
She was born November 23, 1952, in Polk County, daughter of Louise Campbell Proctor and the late Grady Proctor.
She was a 1970 graduate of Paulding County High School. Joan was a member of the Beulahland Baptist Church and had worked as a para pro for the Paulding County School District. She was a devoted Nana who loved her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, Grady Proctor, she was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dennis Thomas.
Survivors include her husband, William David Eaves of Rockmart; two daughters, Amy Eaves Sims and her husband Jeremy of Rockmart and Anna Eaves Rieffel and her husband Erik of Douglasville; mother, Louise Proctor of Rockmart; sister, Brenda Thomas of Rockmart; nine grandchildren, Adrianna, Kristen-Brooke, Noah, Jacob, Samuel, Jonah, David, Alli and Abbi; great-granddaughter, Everly; niece, Denna Raiford and her husband Lee; great-niece, Megan Sutton and great-nephew, Mason Raiford; and great-great-niece, Evie.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eaves will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Beulahland Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Ricky Bradley, Lee Raiford, Mason Raiford, Noah Rieffel, Jacob Rieffel and Samuel Rieffel.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jonah Rieffel and David Rieffel.
The family will receive friends at Beulahland Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
