Mrs. Frankie Victoria Young Patterson

Mrs. Frankie Victoria Young Patterson, age 97, of Lincoln, Alabama, formerly of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020.  She was born on September 1, 1923 in LaGrange, Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Henry F. and Beula Stephens Young.

Mrs. Patterson is survived by her daughters, Lynn Patterson (James), Doris Shears (David), Anne Story, and Linda Story (Kenneth); 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren; and several other extended family members.

Mrs. Patterson is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Herman L. Milam; second husband, Pat Patterson; sons, Roy Milam and Jerry Milam; sisters, Mallissee Hollis and Jimmy Lee Holman; grandchildren, Vickie, Scottie, and Chad; and great-grandchild, Casey.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Frankie Victoria Young Patterson will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at one o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Shears, Brother Bill Snow, and Mr. Danny Shears officiating.  Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Patterson will receive family and friends on Monday, November 9, 2020 from eleven o’clock in the morning until the funeral service hour at Gammage Funeral Home.

In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks are required for all services provided for Mrs. Frankie Patterson.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Dennis Shears, Dale Shears, DeWayne Shears, Robert Netherland, Noah Shears, and Dakota Hogan.
