Mrs. Carolyn Hulsey, age 74, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, December 14, 2020.
Mrs. Hulsey was born in Franklin County, GA on December 6, 1946, a daughter of the late Ernest Allen and the late Mattie Ruth Boyd Allen. Carolyn had lived in Rockmart the greater part of her life where she was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, spending time with her family, working in her yard, and watching game shows. She retired from Meggitt after thirty seven years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Hulsey; two sisters: Joan Evans and Jean Drake; two brothers: Raymond and Jerry Allen; and grandson, John Hulsey.
Survivors include her children: Carol Tippett and her husband Jeff, Aragon, Bonnie Brewer, Smyrna, Bobby Hulsey and his wife, Bobbie Jo, Piedmont, Jason Hulsey and his wife, Meagan, Rockmart, and Angel LeMay and her husband Sam, Newnan; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Barbara Tommey, Griffin, and Janice Walker, Griffin; brother, Jimmy Allen, Concord; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are recommended.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hulsey will be private.
Pallbearers will include: Avery Hulsey, Sam LeMay, Robert Bowman, Aaron Griffin, Mason Taylor, and Brent Coley.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
