Mr. William (Bill) Clifford Green, age 81 of Rockmart, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022.
Mr. Green was born November 10, 1941 in Jasper County, son of the late Willie Miller Green and the late Mary Lou Studdard Green.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a machine operator having retired from Mead Paper Company. He loved to hunt and fish, but his greatest love was his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Jimmy Green, Ethel Sordillo, Betty Gafnea, Billy Green, Joann Davis Kurz and Kathryn Green.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Glenda Halderman Green of Rockmart; two daughters, Tassie (Tim) Aycock of Marietta and Peggy Green (Bryan) Baugus of Powder Springs; three sons, Eric (Huong) Reimers of Woodstock, Russell (Tonja) Reimers of Texas and Alan Clifford Green of Pooler; two sisters, Barbara (Larry) White of Marietta and Mary Harmon of Oxford; brother, Phil Green of Marietta; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life and inurnment service for Mr. Green will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the family cemetery, Cedar Garden, 390 Bollen Rd., Rockmart, GA. The American Legion Brown-Wright Post 12 Honor Guard will be in charge of military honors.
Freeman Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the memorial arrangements for Mr. William (Bill) Clifford Green.
