Stanley Wayne Hopper, age 53, of Rome, and formerly of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020.
Stanley was born on July 20, 1967 in Rome, Georgia the son of Robert Stanley (Bob) Hopper and Jo Ann Wheeler Hopper. Stanley graduated from Cedartown High School and was a avid CHS Bulldog fan. He loved attending football games during his high school years and the years that followed. Even when his health declined even more he always kept up with his favorite team and cheered on the dawgs. He will always be remembered for his kindness to others, his smile and his great attitude. He was a loyal friend to many and will always be remembered.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Hopper; his mother, Jo Ann W. Hopper and sister, Laurie Hopper.
He is survived by his niece, Madison Hopper; step mother, Rita Hopper and many many dear friends.
Graveside and Interment services for Stanley Hopper will be conducted on Wednesday morning, August 12, 2020 in the North View Cemetery, with Rev. Doyle Kelley and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Visitation for Stanley will be on Wednesday morning, August 12, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home.
