Mr. Richard F. Wright, age 89, of Evans GA and formerly of Rome, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021. He was born on June 14, 1931 in Aragon, GA, to his late parents: Leonard Odell Wright and Marie Dunn Wright.
Richard attended Aragon United Methodist Church for many years and worked for Aragon Mill and also worked as a mechanic. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking! Mr. Wright was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tassie Lumsden Wright, who passed away in August of 2007, brother, Leonard Wright, sisters: Virginia Midgett , Lynda Sprayberry and Frances Wright.
Mr. Wright is survived by his daughter, Rilla Bradford and her husband, William of Evans, GA, son, Leonard Wright and his wife, Jennifer of Conyers, GA, grandchildren: Katherine Haney, Joshua Haney, Leah Haney, Ethan Wright and Tyler Wright, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Richard F. Wright will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Aragon United Methodist Church with Rev. Justin Arnold officiating. Interment will follow the service at Aragon Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Joshua Haney, Ethan Wright, Tyler Wright, Darryl England, Alex Tracey and Shaw Landrum.
The family will receive friends at Aragon United Methodist Church on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the service begins at 1:00 PM.
