Mr. Rex Herman Crocker, age 85, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 17, 2020.

He was born on November 18, 1934 in Polk County, the son of the late Herman James Crocker and the late Arvell Meadows Crocker.  Prior to his retirement, Mr. Crocker was in the Insurance business and had been employed with Liberty Mutual for several years. He also had worked for the Rome News Tribune. Rex loved many sports but especially loved baseball and football.  He had coached Little League ball for several years and as a avid Cedartown High School Football fan, he was a sports statistician with WGAA for many years for the CHS Bulldogs.  

Rex is survived by his wife of forty seven years, Elaine Rivers Crocker; his daughter and son in law; Donna & Tom McLaughlin; sons and daughter in law, Glenn & Barbara Crocker and John Crocker; a special cousin, Joanna Machan; grandchildren; Kevin Bullard, Chris Crocker, Jamie Higgins, Mackenzie Terry-Crocker and Valerie Crocker; great grandchildren; Connor Bullard, Grant Bullard, Adam Crocker and Tiberius Higgins.  A number of cousins and other relatives also survive.

Graveside Memorial services for Rex Crocker will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, June 24, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Blake Dodd officiating. The family will be receiving friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
