The Airline 62-650 radio sat in her father's barn on the Colorado prairie until he died, after which it ended up in her garage for a decade.
Mr. Jimmy Keith Tolbert

Mr. Jimmy Keith Tolbert, age 62, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. He was born on August 15, 1958 in Rockmart.  He was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Pauline Wallace Tolbert.

Jimmy was a Radio DJ, best know at WKNG in Tallapoosa for the Bobby & Jimmy Show. He loved the beach, outdoors, his animals, and was passionate about his radio work in the public.

Mr. Tolbert is survived by his by sisters, Teresa Glasgow (Perry) and Christy Myers (Stacy); brothers, Johnny Tolbert (Sharon) and Keith Roberts; and several other extended family members.

Mr. Tolbert is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Susan Tolbert.

A graveside service for Mr. Jimmy Keith Tolbert will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Sardis Cemetery with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating.  

In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks required for all services provided for Mr. Tolbert.
