Mary Elizabeth Givens, age 67 of Cedar Bluff, AL went to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
Mary was happily married to the love of her life Gary Givens for 44 years, she was a blessing to all that had the pleasure to meet her, she had a sweet soul, she loved spending time with her husband and her best friend Beth Barton.
She was a Christian and faithful member of Pisgah Baptist Church. Mary retired as a registered nurse from Floyd Medical Center. She also taught nursing at both Georgia Northwest Technical College and Gadsden State Community College.
She was preceded in death by her parents Erby A. and Gertie Robertson, her brothers Boyce (Christine) Robertson, Larry Don (Nilmarg) Robertson, Erby Robertson, Aaron (Linda) Robertson, Kenith (Patsy) Robertson and her sister Marlon (Dupree) Boland.
Survivors include her husband Gary A. Givens, her sisters Elnora (John Frank) Richardson, Linda (Billy Joe) Arthur, Barbara (Tom) Hilyer, Deborah (Jerry) Branton, her brother Little John Robertson and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a visitation on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM with a funeral service at 3:00 PM following interment at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Rev Jerry Dudley will be officiating.
