Mrs. Mary Madge Martin Baldwin, age 92, of Cedartown passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023.

Mrs. Baldwin was born in Charlottetown, Newfoundland on April 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Louis Henry Martin and Alice Mae Abbot Martin.

Mrs. Baldwin was an active member of the Worldview Baptist Church and was a dedicated Sunday School teacher.

She enjoyed many hobbies, including cooking, shopping for clothes, and loved the challenge of crossword puzzles. Mrs. Baldwin enjoyed watching baseball and game shows. She was a military wife and enjoyed traveling.

Mrs. Baldwin was known for her love of others and always made time to talk to everyone. She had a special love for her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baldwin was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. James “Jim” Baldwin; son, James Baldwin, Jr.; and brothers, Sid Martin, Loyal Martin, and Don Martin.

Mrs. Baldwin is survived by daughters, Janet Baldwin of Fort Pierce, FL, Bobbi Butcher and her husband, John, of Ocean Springs, MS, Lori Cole and her husband, Bryan, of Cedartown, GA, and Terry Baldwin of Melbourne, FL; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Winnie Lethbridge; daughter in law, Sabine Baldwin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 2:30 PM at Worldview Baptist Church with Reverend Doyle Kelley and Mr. Mark Jones officiating and eulogies will be given by family members. Interment will follow at Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at The Smith & Miller Funeral Home Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Greg Hiett, Connor Cole, Neil Standbridge, Ben Miller, Russ Miller, and J.J. Butcher.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Worldview Baptist Church, 500 N. College Drive, Cedartown, Ga 30125.
