Mr. Mark Wayne Barnes, age 60, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
Mr. Barnes was born on February 4, 1961 in Rockmart, GA, to his parents: Johnny Barnes and Bobbie Garner Barnes.
Mark lived all his life in Rockmart, GA and was a 1979 Rockmart High School graduate.
Mr. Barnes enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, riding bicycles and entertaining on his pontoon boat. Mark worked for Bekart as a wire roller for many years.
Mr. Barnes was a loving father, son and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Barnes, who passed away on March 9, 2009.
Mark is survived by his loving children: David Barnes of Villa Rica, GA; daughter, Janie Barnes of Marietta, GA; mother, Bobbie Barnes of Rockmart, GA; 3 grandchildren: Allena James- Duran, Twentynine Palms, CA, Gavin Barnes, Rockmart and Allison James, Marietta; 2 brothers: Andy Barnes, Rockmart and Barry Barnes, Rockmart; and nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the families wishes, Mr. Barnes will be cremated and no formal services are being planned at this time.
