Mrs. Linda Faye Dawson, age 72, of Aragon, GA, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Sandy Springs, GA.
Linda was born in Cedartown, GA, on July 25, 1951, a daughter of the late Elanders Leslie and Madalene Frances Finley Leslie. She had been a resident of Polk County most of her life and was a member of Cedartown Church of God. Linda had worked for JJK Security Company and worked for over 20 years with James Bond Bonding Company. She retired in 2013 and loved going to church and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Anthony “Tony” Dawson, in 2012, whom she married in 1993. A brother, David Leslie, also preceded her in death.
Linda is survived by a daughter, Nicole Lynn (John) Hart; step-sons, James Dawson, and Timmy Dawson; sister, Joyce Elaine Takia; cousin, Annie Ruth Richardson; friends, Jackie and J.B. Hart, Larry Smith, Kenneth Waits, Henrietta Campbell, and Charles Henderson. She is also survived by her fur babies, Minnie Mouse, Bucky, Dexter, Lulu, Maggie, Trump, and Lilly.
A Celebration of Life for Linda is being planned at Cedartown Church of God with the date and time to be announced later.
