Mr. John L., “Johnny” Miller, Jr., age 51, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday evening, March 9, 2023, at his residence.
Johnny was born in Gadsden, AL, on May 11, 1971, son of Barbara C. Hughes Miller and the late John L. Miller, Sr.
He moved to Rockmart from Cobb County in 1991 and was a former employee of Monitor Manufacturing of Cartersville.
Johnny loved being outdoors, going fishing and riding horses. In the fall of the year, he could be found in front of a television watching college football.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Barbara C. Miller; one sister, Ann Miller; two brothers, Tommy Miller and Danny Miller; three nieces, Sasha Hall, Makayla Miller, and Sarah Miller; two nephews, Timothy Ledford and Eric Miller.
Memorial services for Johnny will be held Monday afternoon, March 13, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Haney officiating.
Johnny’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Monday from 3:00 p.m. until the service hour.
