Mrs. Jennie Sue Trammell, age 87, passed away, Monday, March 6, 2023.
Mrs. Trammell was born November 9, 1935, in Rome, Georgia, the daughter of the late Clarence Kelley and Sarah Garlin Kelley.
Mrs. Trammell enjoyed shopping and cooking and loved flowers. Above all, Mrs. Trammell loved her family and enjoyed time spent with them.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trammell was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty nine years, Mr. William Trammell; daughter in law, Marilyn Trammell; and brothers, Stan Kelley and Floyd Kelley.
Survivors include her sons, Roy Trammell and his wife, Leigh Ann, and Barry Trammell; grandchildren, Daniel Trammell and his wife, Kelli, and Steven Trammell and his fiancé, Stephanie; great grandchildren: Dalton, Olivia, Maddie Rae, Caroline, Sadie, and Waylon; and sisters, Mary Ellen Reynolds, Christine Childers, and Linda “Lulu” Eden. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Smith & Miller Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Anthony Trawick officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Steven Trammell, Daniel Trammell, Scott Arrington, James Dulaney, Britt Brumby, and Mark McCown.
The family will receive friends at The Smith & Miller Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
