Mr. Jackie Ray “Jack” Streetman, age 71, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday morning, November 28, 2024.
Mr. Streetman was born in Polk County on January 8, 1953, a son of the late Ray Streetman and Jo Ann Yarbrough Streetman.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Jack had worked for the Aragon Mill for a number of years and was a truck driver for J.L. Lester and Sons.
He also had worked with Ruan Trucking until he became disabled. Mr. Streetman always enjoyed joking with those he loved, enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, camping and anything outdoors. He loved his family and was a great provider.
In addition to his parents, Jack was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Streetman, a grandson, Ethan Streetman, two sisters, Patricia Jackson, and Patsy Moore.
Mr. Streetman is survived by his wife of 51 years, Robbie Tant Streetman, whom he married November 6, 1972; son, Jackie Shane Streetman and his wife, Regina Lynn Harrison; three grandchildren, Sammy Streetman, Eric Streetman, and Caitlin Streetman; brothers, Randy Streetman, Mack Streetman, and Ricky Yarbrough.
Funeral services for Jack will be held on Monday afternoon, December 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Arrington and Rev. Colt Deems officiating. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery.
Jack’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Sunday evening, December 1, 2024, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will include Eric Streetman, James Faye, Mack Streetman, Randy Streetman, Jonathan Lindsey, Scotty Swift.
