Polk Today provides this weekly feature promoting dogs and cats up for adoption at the Cedartown Polk County Humane Society. Tori is a beautiful Chihuahua mix who weighs just a little over 10 lbs, being the perfect size for someone looking for a lap dog. Though her white face makes her look a bit older, this sweet girl is estimated to be around a year old, possibly younger.
Tara is a black and brown Dachshund Miniature Pinscher mix and is around a year old and weighs about 11 lbs. These sweet girls love to be petted, to be held, and enjoy running around outside to play and let all their energy out.
Tori and Tara get along well with other dogs, cats, and children, making them a great addition to any family. They are both spayed, current on all of their vaccines, microchipped, and have both tested negative for heartworms.
Suri is a beautiful multicolored domestic shorthaired female who is around a year old and absolutely loves to play and be petted. She is 4 lbs and will lay in your lap for hours if you let her. Suri has been with us for a while now and is such a sweet and loving girl. Her beautiful eyes will melt your heart and make you want to pet her endlessly every time you look at her. Suri gets along with other cats and has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on all of her vaccines.
These pets are available for adoption today at the Cedartown Polk County Humane Society at 3416 Rockmart Hwy., Cedartown. Those interested in making an adoption can contact the Humane Society at their website, or visit on Fridays and Saturdays from 2 to 5 p.m.
