Polk Today provides this weekly feature promoting dogs and cats up for adoption at the Cedartown Polk County Humane Society. Please consider providing these pets a loving home or tell those who might be interested about their availability.
Chase

This sweet, 8 year old, sixteen pound male rat terrier mix is lost without his very own home. He is quiet, playful, loving, and hoping to find someone who loves seniors. Do you have a place for this sweet boy in your heart and home?
Please click on the link Cedartown Polk County Humane Society and complete an application to adopt.
As with all our dogs, Chase has been tested for heartworms, vaccinated appropriate for age, neutered, and microchipped. Microchip registration is included in the adoption fee. All our pets are given flea and heartworm preventatives monthly.
Freya

Freya is a two-year-old, nine pound, sweet, brown tabby, domestic shorthair that came to us as part of a kitten litter. Her whole life has been spent in the shelter. Her litter mates have all been adopted but she still waits.
We do not know why since she is a sweet and beautiful girl that gets along well with all the other kitties. When people come to visit, she is happy to visit with them and give them her best purr.
Freya needs a home of her own, and we are hoping that someone is looking for this sweet girl. Won’t you please give her a chance?!
Please click on the link Cedartown Polk County Humane Society and complete an application to adopt.
As with all of our cats and kittens, Freya has been tested for FIV and Feline leukemia, vaccinated appropriate for age, spayed, and microchipped. Microchip registration is included in the adoption fee. All our pets are given flea and heartworm preventatives monthly.
Those interested in making an adoption can contact the Humane Society at their website, or visit on Fridays and Saturdays from 2 to 5 p.m.
