Mr. Glen Ray Frasier

Mr. Glen Ray Frasier, age 78, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was born on August 10, 1944 in Gadsden, Alabama. He was the son of the late H.V. Frasier and Alieen Espy Battles (Marvin).

Mr. Frasier was born in Gadsden, Alabama and was a graduate of Gadsden High School in 1962. Glen has been a resident of Cedartown for over sixty years.

He was employed by Lee Cylinders for twenty six years and the Hon Company for twenty four years. He was a member, Deacon, and Sunday School Teacher at World View Baptist Church. He loved his family and fast cars, but most of all he loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mr. Frasier is survived by his loving wife of fifty six years, Debbie Boswell Frasier; daughter, Robin Peck Forston; sons, Richard Peck of Columbus, GA and COL(Ret) John Frasier (Amy), of Athens, AL; brother, Dr. Gene Battles; sister, Pam De John; sister-in-law, Joan Burkhalter (Dennis); grandchildren, MSgt David Lee Forston (Mindy), Drew Forston (Kristen), Kaylie Brown (Taylor), Dana Chavez (Chris), Benjamin Frasier, and Hanah Jean Frasier; and great-grandchildren, Zoey Forston, Brielle Forston, Grant Forston, Charlotte Forston, Nora Chavez, and Jace Forston.

Mr. Frasier is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jimmy Frasier.

The funeral service for Mr. Glen Ray Frasier will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at eleven o’clock in the morning at World View Baptist Church with Rev. John Frasier officiating with family and friends speaking. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Frasier will receive family and friends on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested flowers be omitted and donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: David Lee Forston, Drew Forston, Benjamin Frasier, Dennis Burkhalter, Ken Kelley, and Dennis Phillips.
