The Cedartown campus of the Polk County College and Career Academy is looking nicer thanks to help from a local industry partner with the Polk School District.

From the PSD Facebook page:

Gildan Yarns, one of Polk School District’s Partners in Education, is sponsoring annual campus beautification projects. This year the focus was on Polk County College and Career Academy in Cedartown. Michael Ferguson, Agriculture Instructor, Master Horticulturist and Landscape Designer, created the plan and in collaboration with his students have been planting shrubs, muscadine, thorn-less blackberries, and blueberry bushes.

We are excited to see the finished product and are extremely grateful to Gildan for their partnership and support of our schools.
